Bio:
Valerie Marshall is the Deputy Director of the National Vaccine Program in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health in the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy. She has over 20 years of experience in research, government, and industry settings. During her 13-year tenure at the Office of Vaccines Research and Review in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research/FDA, she worked on the development of vaccines for public health emergencies of national and international scope, including tH1N1, Zika, Ebola, and COVID-19. She received an MPH from the George Washington University and BS from Morgan State University
