Bio:
Tommy has nearly 15 years of research program experience focusing on novel drug development alongside pre-clinical modeling. Tommy’s recent experience includes utilizing scientific expertise to support national health care programs within HHS/OASH involving infectious diseases and disease prevention, including serving on the federal interagency COVID-19 Task Force for which was awarded the HHS Secretary’s Award for Distinguished Service. His experience also includes helping build and implement a new federal program within FDA/CDRH focusing on strengthening supply chains for medical devices.
In his current role, Tommy leads federal and state immunization policy efforts at GSK to increase patient access and quality metrics and working to restore public trust in science and one of the most life-saving public health interventions in history, vaccines. Interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and charismatic leadership credentials built throughout a career in scientific research and public health advocacy.
