Maggie Davis, JD, MBE, PMP

Bio:
Maggie Davis is the Director of State Health Policy at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). In this role she provides law and policy technical assistance, supports ASTHO’s Executive Leadership Forum and Legislative Liaison Peer Network, and oversees the organization’s state legislation monitoring.
Prior to joining ASTHO she worked at the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security where she served as a consultant for federal, state, and local government entities with expertise in public health emergencies.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University and a Juris Doctor with a certificate in Health Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
She is licensed to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia and lives in Northern Virginia with her dog, Goose.
